Licensed by the State of Oregon Board of Massage Therapists since 2003 #10316.

Are you ready to slow down for a minute? Are you ready to feel better on every level, release stiffness and pain, and dispose of stress? Allow yourself to unwind and de-stress in my lovely office space while receiving an exceptional bodywork treatment. My unique style and very caring approach to bodywork allow me to provide a wonderful massage session tailored to fit your needs.

My quiet, warm, clean office is located near Downtown Eugene, close to the Owen Rose Garden. The comfortable and serene setting make it easy to relax and let go of the stresses from today's busy world. I also have great parking.

My style of massage can easily be referred to as "eclectic". It is important to me that each client's needs are met and that each massage session is unique so I use any and all of the modalities available to me. These include: aromatherapy, acupressure, whiplash (and related injury) treatment, chronic conditions care, wellness massage, myofascial release, and the very gentle and effective manual therapy.

We are an artificial fragrance-free facility. Please refrain from wearing any form of scents on the day of your appointment. Thank you!

Diversity and Inclusion Statement

Rosa’s Healing Touch Massage is a space that always embraces tolerance for difference and acceptance whenever possible within the spaces of my ongoing practice.  I do this work because it is my calling and I am passionate about serving populations that do not normally have access to massage therapy that feels safe and competent.  Some of my foundational values include (but are not limited to): trauma-informed care, anti-racist, ethnic and culturally diverse as much as possible, gender-affirming, anti-ableism, anti-ageist, family friendly, neurodiversity, disease, chronic pain and/or mysterious health issues. I am always on a journey to learn more and for us both to feel better, so if there is anything I say/do that doesn't live up to my values, call me out.  I aspire to create a deliberative space to learn about each other’s needs, even when different oppressed communities have needs that may seem initially at odds.  This process is messy and no one is perfect. When my health status can impact your licensed massage therapy, I will inform you of any pertinent news. Examples include viral exposure, debilitating neuropathic pain flares, or physical injuries that limit my ability to work. Likewise, as a space of care and therapeutic massage therapy, I have tolerance for those that are learning to be better.  That does not mean I will ever tolerate deliberate manipulation, abuse or violation of this space.

Education

I attended Lane Community College's Massage Therapy program right here in beautiful Eugene, Oregon. The program gives quality training in Human Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, and various modalities/techniques for the safe application of Massage Therapy.

I spent 7 fun years teaching Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology 5 in the LCC Massage Therapy program.

My Massage Therapy License was attained after successfully passing the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists practical exam and the written exam provided by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in April of 2003.

As a licensed practitioner in Oregon, I happily further my education in human sciences, pathology, bodywork techniques and aromatherapy to renew my Oregon license to practice every other year.
I enjoy researching techniques and modalities daily to enhance the work and offer the most healing session possible. Manual Therapy is an area of in-depth study I continue to enjoy and bring into my practice. The deeper knowledge of tissue types and body-supporting releases brings a new level of stiffness relief and mobility. Call me today to experience this for yourself.

With more than 10 years of experience working with the elderly and people who are medically complex before becoming an LMT, I enjoy providing therapeutic massage to those who require a delicate touch. At Rosa’s Healing Touch Massage, I work towards diversity, equity and inclusion for all races, cultures, religious affiliation, ages, sexual orientations and genders. Safety is and always has been essential to my eclectic style.

In 2018, my saga of living with Trigeminal Neuralgia began after an injury to the trigeminal nerve root. I serve as a Peer Mentor volunteer and several other roles with the Facial Pain Association to provide support, advocacy, validation, and education for those of us warriors living with this disease. Because TN is nearly impossible to treat and is as of yet incurable; I continue to learn new disciplines, therapies and approaches to managing chronic, debilitating pain. This experience has enhanced the compassion and care offered.

As a DoTERRA Wellness Advocate and aspiring Aromatherapist, I offer and utilize essential oils upon request. You may visit my website at www.doterra.com/US/en/site/rosajimenez
